Hello! I'm paige, and I love fashion. I love writing on my blog! It's fun meeting new people who have the same interests. So my blog is mostly about celebrity fashion, but I try to find inspiration in their outfits and find the same look for a reasonable price. I hope I can find cheaper alternatives...though sometimes for classics you just have to go for it!
So let's just say it, everything that I start reading I get instantly obssessed with. I started reading The Hunger Games out of interest from hearing friends say it was pretty interesting, so I decided to check it out. Let's just say that starting to read this series over the Thanksgiving break was a great idea. I spent around 6 days staying up until 4 a.m. reading these books. They are a bit sad, definitely different, but I highly recommend them. This is all beside the point, but if you have read them you'll know what I'm talking about. The Capitol is known for it's outlandish fashion, and in an awesome way to promote the movie, out in March, they have created Capitol Couture. It's a site about the fashions in the Capitol and it is SO COOL. I probably think this because I love the series so much...but I think it's really neat that movies are covering the fashion aspect of the industry too, like with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo collection at H&M. I'm just really excited and even if you aren't interested in The Hunger Games I would recommend it just because the clothes and shoes Effie Trinket wears are so GORGEOUS. Anyways. Check it out here!
Target is introducing more affordable designs in The Shops. They're handpicking specialty stores across America, and showcasing them in Target stores everywhere! So exciting! These "stores" open in May, but no fear Jason Wu for Target will be coming within the next month! So exciting!!
Okay I feel like Rooney Mara is killing it everywhere she goes for the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo premieres! I wasn't super fond of the white Givenchy dress she chose for the UK premiere, but I think that was because it didn't fit her well...I don't know what it was...but everything else she has worn has been so stunning. I'm a huge supporter of her new look. Her style before the movie was great too, but I think this fits her well.This Michael Kors dress is my favorite so far. I LOVE the short in the front, long in the back look. I'm not sure what it is but I just love it, and in this photo she looks so happy! Anyways yay for pale skin! I will always be for that cause.
You guys! I've missed blogging so much! I'm hoping to be able to blog a little more, because I do really love it. (P.S. hey there new followers!) Anyways, at my work I had some spare time so I started reading the newest issue of Teen Vogue. Little Miss Elle Fanning is on the cover! Did you know she is 13? I was shocked...she seems so mature and her interview is great! She seems to live the life of any other normal teen...minus the whole movie making bit. The article even includes her sister, who you might know, Dakota. What a power house the Fanning family is! The article is here if you're interested. I've noticed that alot of stars take beautiful dresses from the runway and alter them. What do you guys think about that? Here's a couple examples I found!
It's going to be a fabulous couple months. Since Breaking Dawn will be coming out in around 3 weeks (ahhhh!!) there is lots of press for the stars and starlets involved! Obviously my favorite Kristen is in alot of the press happening! (The main 3 got their hand prints at the Chinese Theatre now!) Anyways, this shoot is beautiful and features alot of amazing pieces from top designers fall collections of this year. Enjoy!
Yet another thing to make me even more excited about this film. Since H&M is swedish, they found it would be an awesome idea to collaborate with the costume designer of The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, Trish Summerville. It's the first collaboration with a movie, and features clothing like Lisbeth would wear on the streets of Sweden. I shall start saving now for this!
I'm so happy I have a subscription to Vogue now. Rooney Mara is covering Vogue this November. I find the photography is so beautiful. I'm so excited for The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo to come out! I think Rooney will do a great job playing Lisbeth. Link to the article is here! Enjoy!
