Has anyone been following the various fashion week shows? I have been here and there. Then I found out Kristen was going over to Paris Fashion Week. Of course I got way more interested than anyone should be. Kristen has been named the face of Balenciaga's new fragrance, and was at their show in Paris along with Salma Hayek. Both looked beautiful, and I really loved Kristen's leather pants. What is it about leather pants? I like them alot for some reason....I can't explain it.
Also a little side note, Kristen was at the Stella McCartney showroom, and came out with this beautiful bag. I checked it out online...needless to say it was WAY expensive...like over $1000. I really hope they make a cheap version for those of us working on a budget!
So I've been a bit busy with school work, but on Sunday I watched the awards and was amazed with the dress choices! Most everyone looked amazing but there was a few who stood out to me. p.s. I found this photo to be HILARIOUS.
Michelle Williams. I LOVE this dress. She described the color as coral, but on screen it looked red. Michelle has such a great style, and it has shown through the award season. This gown is just the icing on the cake. This was a custom made gown by Louis Vuitton. Just a beautiful choice for this lovely lady.
Rooney Mara. It's no secret that I have a huge love for Rooney, so of course I love this. I like the white on her, since she has been wearing lots of black lately. Up close it looks like gauze and it is so structural, and intricate. It's designed by Givenchy. I think she gets criticized for her choices but I really like it. Her style has evolved since her role in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, and I couldn't be more anxious to see her in more movies!
Jessica Chastain. This lady. I just love her in The Help. I was so excited to hear she was nominated! I digress. This gown is stunning. When she walked onto the red carpet, I gasped. It's so intricate, there's no other explanation than McQueen. I just love the black and gold together. It's so detailed, and everything from her hair and the jewelry helps enhance the beauty of it. She looks perfect. Jessica is definitely my favorite of the awards!

Today I ventured out to Hillcrest to get lunch for a friend's birthday and we decided to go to Buffalo Exchange real quick. This was a good idea. I found a cute dress, which I'll probably post about later, and this really cool bag! It reminds me of a bowling bag so I immediately ran to it. I'm usually not a fan of Buffalo Exchange because the prices can be high for second hand items, but this bag was around $19 and it's in really good shape. It will be perfect for trips to the temple or overnight trips. So excited to use it!
You guys sometime I can't help but freak out when I find things. This video is behind the scenes of the Hollywood Issue of Vanity Fair. I always get excited for these shoots. This year the cover features many but my favorites are of course Rooney Mara, Jennifer Lawrence, and Jessica Chastain. So excited to get a copy!
So let's just say it, everything that I start reading I get instantly obssessed with. I started reading The Hunger Games out of interest from hearing friends say it was pretty interesting, so I decided to check it out. Let's just say that starting to read this series over the Thanksgiving break was a great idea. I spent around 6 days staying up until 4 a.m. reading these books. They are a bit sad, definitely different, but I highly recommend them. This is all beside the point, but if you have read them you'll know what I'm talking about. The Capitol is known for it's outlandish fashion, and in an awesome way to promote the movie, out in March, they have created Capitol Couture. It's a site about the fashions in the Capitol and it is SO COOL. I probably think this because I love the series so much...but I think it's really neat that movies are covering the fashion aspect of the industry too, like with The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo collection at H&M. I'm just really excited and even if you aren't interested in The Hunger Games I would recommend it just because the clothes and shoes Effie Trinket wears are so GORGEOUS. Anyways. Check it out here!
Target is introducing more affordable designs in The Shops. They're handpicking specialty stores across America, and showcasing them in Target stores everywhere! So exciting! These "stores" open in May, but no fear Jason Wu for Target will be coming within the next month! So exciting!!
Okay I feel like Rooney Mara is killing it everywhere she goes for the Girl with the Dragon Tattoo premieres! I wasn't super fond of the white Givenchy dress she chose for the UK premiere, but I think that was because it didn't fit her well...I don't know what it was...but everything else she has worn has been so stunning. I'm a huge supporter of her new look. Her style before the movie was great too, but I think this fits her well. This Michael Kors dress is my favorite so far. I LOVE the short in the front, long in the back look. I'm not sure what it is but I just love it, and in this photo she looks so happy! Anyways yay for pale skin! I will always be for that cause.
You guys! I've missed blogging so much! I'm hoping to be able to blog a little more, because I do really love it. (P.S. hey there new followers!) Anyways, at my work I had some spare time so I started reading the newest issue of Teen Vogue. Little Miss Elle Fanning is on the cover! Did you know she is 13? I was shocked...she seems so mature and her interview is great! She seems to live the life of any other normal teen...minus the whole movie making bit. The article even includes her sister, who you might know, Dakota. What a power house the Fanning family is! The article is here if you're interested. Her photoshoot is beautiful as well, check it out!

I think if I was to choose I would say Emma was more my style. Which would you wear?
